Abstract

With the continuous adaptation of renewable energy sources to mitigate climate change, the desire for efficient and effective photovoltaic (PV) systems is ever-growing. Through the design and implementation of smart Inverter Technology, this project contributes to the optimization of solar by advancing inverter technology, minimizing energy losses, zing energy losses, and enhancing the efficiency of PV systems. This correlates positively to the global shift towards renewable energy sources, weakening reliance on fossil fuels, and promoting energy independence. Moreover, the application of real-time monitoring and adaptive control systems can aid in the early detection of faults, thereby increasing the reliability of solar installations, resulting in cost savings for customers and businesses, rendering solar energy less expensive and economically feasible. This project presents the implementation of an off-grid single-phase smart inverter photovoltaic system, with built-in maximum power point tracking (MPPT) and a smart inverter with real power and reactive power regulation for the photovoltaic module arrays (PVMA).
