ASSESING THE IMPACT OF CO-OPERATIVE SOCIETY ON RURAL DEVELOPMENT
Abstract
Cooperatives Societies Plays A Crucial Role In Societies And Communities In The Era Of Competition Due To Rapid Need To Foster Development In Communities And Local Societies. This Study Is Aimed To Assessing the Impact of Cooperatives Societies in Rural Development a Study of United Youth Development of Dagauda in Dambam Local Government Area of Bauchi State Nigeria from 2015-2019. This study is quantitative in nature and employed survey research design was used in the study. Simple random techniques were used to adopt 399 sample sizes. Close – ended questionnaire option were used as the method of data collection while descriptive analysis were used to present the result from data collected from field survey. This study hypothesized that cooperatives play a vital role in community development. The result of the study revealed that. This paper ends by offering useful suggestions to the management involve in the operation of the institution. Therefore, the contribution of this study is that it provokes insight amongst owners, managers, policy makers and scholars on how to contribute in rural development. This study recommends that government should give attention and proper assistance to cooperatives,
