Abstract

This study examines Effect of Communication on Organizational Productivity, with special reference to MTN Nigeria Plc. Communication is regarded as the lifeline of every organization, influencing decision-making, employee performance, customer satisfaction, and overall profitability. The study adopted a descriptive survey design. Data were collected through structured questionnaires distributed among staff of MTN Nigeria Plc, supported with interviews and secondary data. Both descriptive and inferential statistics, including Chi-square tests, were used for analysis. The findings revealed that effective communication significantly impacts organizational profitability by enhancing productivity, reducing misunderstandings, boosting employee morale, and improving customer relations. Poor communication was found to lead to reduced efficiency, conflicts, and decline in performance. The study concluded that communication is an indispensable management tool for achieving organizational objectives and recommended that organizations should establish effective communication channels, promote feedback mechanisms, and adopt modern communication technologies.
