DESIGN AND DEVELOPMENT OF STUDENT CONFERENCE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM
Abstract
ABSTRACT
This project presents the design and implementation of a web-based Conference Management System (CMS) aimed at simplifying and automating the organization of academic and professional conferences. Traditional conference planning involves complex tasks such as registration, paper
submission, review, and scheduling, which are prone to errors and inefficiencies.
The developed CMS offers a centralized platform with role-based access for administrators, authors, reviewers, and attendees, ensuring secure and efficient workflow management. Key features include paper submission tracking, automated reviewer assignment, event scheduling,
email notifications, and real-time analytics.
Built with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and MySQL, the system is scalable, modular, and user-friendly, supporting multi-language interfaces and customizable themes. Initial deployment in a university environment showed improved efficiency, reduced administrative workload, and positive
user feedback. Future upgrades may include integration with virtual conferencing tools, AI-based paper matching, and mobile app support.
