Abstract

ABSTRACT A farm product shopping application is a digital marketplace designed to directly connect consumers with local farmers and producers. This specialized e-commerce platform moves beyond traditional grocery shopping by focusing on the traceability, freshness, and seasonal availability of goods such as fruits, vegetables, dairy, meat, and artisanal products. The core function of the application is to provide a userfriendly interface where customers can easily browse inventories from multiple local farms, place orders for delivery or pickup, and make secure digital payments. By digitizing the farm-to-table process, the application addresses key consumer demands for transparency and convenience while offering producers a vital channel to expand their market reach beyond physical farmers' markets. The implementation of such an application yields significant, mutual benefits for both consumers and the agricultural community. For shoppers, it guarantees access to fresher, higherquality produce, often with detailed information about its origin and farming practices, thereby fostering healthier eating habits and supporting the local economy. For farmers, the platform serves as a powerful tool to increase sales, reduce dependency on intermediaries, and build a stable, loyal customer base. Ultimately, a farm product shopping application acts as a crucial technological bridge, strengthening local food systems, promoting sustainable consumption, and revitalizing the connection between urban populations and the sources of their food.
