Abstract

This study employed the Mellin transform to interpret magnetic anomaly data over a phosphate deposit area in oja odan, ohun state The aim was to enhance the understanding of subsurface geological structures and identify potential phosphate bearing formations . Magnetic survey data were acquired and processed using the Mellin transform to separate anomaly patterns into odd and even components. The results revealed distinct anomaly pattens, indicating subsurface geological features such as faults, fractures and layered structures. The odd Mellin transform highlighted areas of high magnetic susceptibility. The depth obtained for h and H at polarization angle of 5,20,45,70.
