The Formulation of Homemade Mosquito Repellent was carried out using plant product at the Biology Laboratory of Applied Biology Department Federal Polytechnic Damaturu. 50g of orange peel, 30g of clove, 50g of neem leaves and cassava starch were obtained and made in to powder to serve as ingredients. Using boil water starch past. Was formed followed by the addition of the mixture to form the formulation. 16cm length of brooms were inserted several times in to the mixture to adhere the ingredients to the brooms, ingredients were also added to the brooms again when it dries to form a diameter of 3mm. smoke emission test using eye observation method revealed that the formulated product emits slightly higher smoke compared to Super Kill and Boxer brand. However it perform similar repelling function on mosquitoes.
