A PAINTERLY REPRESENTATION OF THE FUN OF CHILDHOOD USING PVC BANDING TAPE (EDGE TAPE)
Abstract
PVC Banding tape, also known as edge banding tape is a thin, flexible strip of polyvinylchloride (PVC) that is used to cover and protect the exposed edgesof wind plywood and other materials. It is commonly used in furniture making to increase bonding strength and thermal stability, making it more suitable for application requiring water and heat resistance (T Bardak, A.N. Tankint November, 2016). Duetothe ubiquity of edge tape in the furniture industry, this project report hasbeensystematically organized to know other ways the ‘‘mediumtape’’ canbeusedartistically and also to broaden the mind of artist about the importance of exploringunconventional art materials, such as PVC Banding tape .
