Abstract

Abstract:* This study assesses the technical efficiency of poultry egg production in Nigeria, revealing a relatively low level of efficiency. Opportunities for improvement exist through adopting efficient practices, enhancing disease management, and promoting small-scale farming. Implementing these can boost productivity, competitiveness, food security, employment, and economic growth in Nigeria.
