Abstract

This project work sought to develop a Web based Job provision system for skilled workers. This project was birthed from a strong desire to help new entrants access skilled workers within that location and also to eliminate the chances of hiring a skilled worker with little or no expertise in such skill and to harness a good service delivery in Skilled workforce. Data was collected during the survey using online survey (Google Form). The analysis reviewed that individuals has been misled stranded in their search for skilled workers and have had their properties damaged the more by skilled worker with no or little expertise in the skill. The new system was designed using Object-Oriented Analysis and Design Methodology (OOADM) which lends itself to UML. PHP, Bootstrap, MySQLi, XAMPP were the programming language, frameworks and tools used. The Parallel changeover was used in the implementation phase after a successful testing using the white box and black box testing approach. The result is a web-based skilled worker Job provision system that allows clients to rate skilled workers after completing a job for them.
