Abstract

The limitations of traditional, manual quiz administration have resulted in significant resource expenditure for instructors, particularly in creating quizzes and accessing results efficiently. Besides, participants are often denied the benefits of accessible and user-friendly interface. Thus, this study details the development of an online quiz management system designed to streamline quiz creation, delivery and assessment for both educators and learners. Built using Agile methodology, development was iterative and responsive, incorporating feedback through sprints. The system architecture utilized PHP for backend logic, MySQL for data management, JavaScript for interactivity, and CSS for responsive design. Testing confirmed a 50% reduction in administrative workload, with 85% of users reporting ease of use. A 100% test pass rate demonstrated system reliability, supported by a traceability matrix linking requirements to test cases. A comprehensive user guide was also created to support user onboarding. The project validates Agile's effectiveness in building scalable, user-focused educational tools, and offers a foundation for future improvements like analytics and multi-language support.
