Abstract

This work entails the design of the Fingerprint-based door lock system, of which each result has been profound. The system focuses solely on the design of a fingerprint clearance to avoid, passing or closing its registers fingerprints. It allows the passing of registered fingers and the denial of unregistered ones. The work involves implementing through hardware and software design and comprises the ESP 32 microcontroller, AS06 fingerprint module, 16x2 LCD/IC2 Backpack and solenoid lock as the hardware components and the Adreno IDE for programming the microcontroller as the software component. The objective of this work was to realize that it aimed at designing a prototype of a fingerprint-based smart door lock system, and the goal was to enhance this technology, which is significant to this study. The work clearly highlights the literature justifying the method of this work and the creation of research gaps. The materials are methods involved in designing and realizing the prototype, and the results are discussed and recommended to future researchers.
