Abstract

This project presents the implementation of a Progressive Web Application (PWA) for Lecturer-Students Lecture Timetable Management System, addressing the inefficiencies of manual scheduling such as conflicts, delays, and poor communication. Built with React.js, Laravel (PHP), and MySQL, the system integrates a Constraint Satisfaction Problem (CSP) algorithm for conflict-free scheduling, service workers for offline access, and Firebase Cloud Messaging for real-time notifications. Testing showed strong performance, with the CSP algorithm scheduling 50 courses in 3.2 seconds, resolving 98% of conflicts, caching 100% of data for offline use, and achieving a 98.7% push notification delivery rate. The solution is cost-effective, platform-independent, and significantly enhances productivity for students, lecturers, and administrators by ensuring reliable, accessible, and seamless timetable management.
