Abstract

ABSTRACT The objective is to create a seamless, intuitive, and aesthetically pleasing shopping experience that meets user needs and expectations. Through a combination of theoretical research and practical application, this project will highlight the impact of effective UI/UX design on user engagement, satisfaction, and overall business performance in the mobile commerce sector. To achieve the project's goals, a mixed-methods approach was adopted. Initially, a qualitative analysis was conducted through user interviews and surveys to understand user needs and preferences. This was complemented by a quantitative analysis of user behavior data from existing mobile commerce applications. Based on these insights, iterative prototyping and user testing were employed to refine the Shopease app design. Key methodologies included user persona development, wireframing, and usability testing, ensuring that the final product was both user-centric and functionally robust. The research concluded with the successful implementation of the Shopease mobile commerce app, which demonstrated significant improvements in user engagement and satisfaction metrics. The final product featured an intuitive navigation system, streamlined checkout process, and personalized shopping experience, validated through extensive user testing. The study underscores the critical role of UI/UX design in mobile commerce, providing actionable insights and practical guidelines for future developments in this domain.
