Abstract

This project write up focuses on the performance evaluation of a vapor compression refrigerating system using R507 as the workingfluid R507 was chosen because of its less depletion potentials and its multiple advantages that make it safe for refrigeration purpose. Various tests such as the "No Load Performance Test and Ice Making Test" were conducted to determine the suitability of R507 for refrigeration purpose. The tests were conducted at 430C ambient temperature for 24 hours. Results obtained shows that R-$07 is efficient andsuitablefor refrigeration ofallproducts.
