Abstract

This project focuses on the design of an orphanage home that addresses the physical, emotional, and developmental needs of vulnerable children. The design incorporates key principles of safety, functionality, and sustainability, ensuring that the environment is both nurturing and practical. The site is strategically selected to ensure access to essential services, including schools, healthcare, and public transportation. The design elements prioritize natural lighting, ventilation, and energy efficiency, creating a comfortable indoor atmosphere while minimizing environmental impact. Specific zones are designated for residential, educational, recreational, and administrative activities, ensuring a structured and well-organized layout. Special attention is given to security measures, including controlled access points, surveillance, and emergency systems to ensure the safety of residents. The orphanage also includes educational and vocational training facilities to support the children's growth and future independence. Incorporating green spaces and recreational areas fosters both physical and emotional well-being. This comprehensive approach creates a supportive and enriching environment, empowering children to thrive despite their challenging circumstances. The project serves as a model for child care facilities, integrating modern design principles with social responsibility to improve the lives of orphaned and vulnerable children.
