DEVELOPMENT OF CINEMA RESERVATION SYSTEM
Abstract
This project involves the design and development of a Cinema Reservation
System that automates the movie ticket booking process with integrated seat
allocation functionality. The system enables users to browse currently showing
films, check showtimes, select preferred seats, and book tickets through an
intuitive web interface. A key feature of the system is its intelligent seat selection
mechanism, which ensures that selected seats are reserved in real-time and
prevents double bookings. Administrators are provided with tools to manage
movie schedules, update seating configurations, and generate reservation
reports. Built using modern web technologies and supported by a secure
database, the system enhances user experience, reduces manual intervention,
and improves operational efficiency for cinema staff.
