ProjectFederal Polytechnic, Ado-Ekiti, Ekiti State · 2025 · NDN PRJ-263218131762590569STATISTICAL STUDY ON THE RATE OF INFLATION OR DEFLATION IN NIGERIA ECONOMYGideon Ayobami Olola · HND · StatisticsThe statistical analysis of inflation and deflation patterns in Nigeria's economy from 2009 to 2023 is presented in this paper, with a particular emphasis on important industries and sectors like services, industry, and agriculture. Using multiple regression models to evaluate their influence on inflationary or deflationary pressures, the research attempts to investigate the relationship between these sectors and their contributions to GDP. The results show notable inflationary trends, with price rises in the services and agriculture sectors outpacing those in the manufacturing sector. The report also emphasizes how crucial sound monetary policy is for containing inflation and fostering economic stability. The National Bureau of Statistics is one of the primary data sources used in the research, which forecasts future inflationary patterns and informs policy suggestions for sustainable economic growth through the use of time series and regression techniques. This study adds to our understanding of Nigeria's economic volatility and offers stakeholders and policymakers new perspectives.

ProjectUniversity of Ilorin, Kwara State · 2025 · NDN PRJ-21866331762590266GREEN HUMAN RESOURCE MANAGEMENT PRACTICES AND STAKEHOLDER’S ENGAGEMENT IN MULTINATIONAL OIL COMPANIESKaosarat Motunrayo Adigun · BSc · Industrial relations and personnel managementGreen Human Resource Management (GHRM) has emerged as a strategic approach to integrating environmentally sustainable practices within organizational policies and procedures, aiming to reduce ecological footprints while enhancing organizational effectiveness. The objective of the study is to examine the effect of green human resources management practices on stakeholders' engagement in Multinational oil companies. To achieve this, the specific objectives to guide this research were to; (i)Determine the effect of green recruitment and selection on stakeholders' engagement in Multinational oil companies. (ii), Evaluate the effect of green training and development on stakeholders' engagement in Multinational oil companies. (iii)Examine the impact of green reward system on stakeholders' engagement in Multinational oil companies. In this study, simple random sampling techniques were used to ensure an unbiased selection of participants. The sample size was determined using Taro Yamane’s formula, which provided a scientifically valid number of respondents for the research. For inferential statistics, Partial Least Squares (PLS) was employed, integrating factor analysis and regression analysis while also providing a path and structural analysis of the data. Hypotheses were tested using Pearson moment of correlation to examine the cause-and-effect relationship between the variables. This analysis was conducted using SPSS version. The correlation coefficient of (0.96) and the (+1) value revealed a positive significant relationship between the independent and dependent variable. This implies that a unit increase in the level of green recruitment and selection will cause a 13% increase in the engagement levels of organizational performance of the multinational oil companies at 0.05 level of significance. In addition, the N value showed that the total respondents for the study was 198 people. The findings consistently demonstrated that green recruitment and selection, green training and development, and green reward systems each had a positive and significant impact on stakeholder engagement. These results highlighted the critical role that environmentally conscious HR practices play in strengthening stakeholder involvement, support, and trust.

ProjectPAMO University of Medical Sciences, Port Harcourt, Rivers State · 2025 · NDN PRJ-4139432331762590263THE PREVALENCE, INTENSITY AND RISK FACTORS OF SOIL TRANSMITTED HELMINTHS AMONG SCHOOL AGED CHILDREN IN PORT HARCOURT.Caleb Jenbrentonaa Omi-Brown · BSc · Medical laboratory scienceSoil-transmitted helminths (STHs) are parasitic worms present in soil contaminated by human faeces, causing infections through ingestion or skin contact. This study was a cross-sectional design that assessed the prevalence, intensity, and risk factors associated with STH infections among school-aged children in Port Harcourt, Nigeria. Ethical approval and informed consent were sought and obtained before collecting fecal samples from 150 participants. Sampling technique used was stratified simple random sampling technique. The samples were examined using direct microscopy, formol-ether concentration, and Kato-Katz techniques. Sociodemographic and risk factor data were collected through structured questionnaires, and SPSS was used for data analysis, using descriptive cross tabs and chi square analytical tools. Results showed that 45.3% of the fecal samples were positive for STHs. Ascaris lumbricoides being the most commonly detected in 64.6% of positive cases. Most infections were of light intensity, with no high-intensity cases observed. Specifically, 85.1% of Ascaris lumbricoides infections were of light intensity, and 14.9% were of moderate intensity, with mean (SE) egg counts of 355.31(±21.93) and 1409(±0.967), respectively. Age, sex, and educational status did not significantly impact prevalence or intensity with p values of p=0.232, p=0.241, p=0.101 respectively, but poor personal hygiene was a significant risk factor (p = 0.013). The study underscores the need for enhanced awareness, improved diagnostic methods, and better sanitation practices to curb the spread of STH infections.

ProjectFederal Polytechnic, Ado-Ekiti, Ekiti State · 2025 · NDN PRJ-250568131762589319EFFECT OF MULTIPLE TAXATION ON THE TURNOVER OF SMALL AND MEDIUM SCALE ENTERPRISESDamilola Olarinde · HND · ACCOUNTANCYABSTRACT<br> This study was designed to examine the effect of multiple taxation on the Turnover of small and Medium Scale Enterprises. The objective of the study is to examine the relationship between multiple taxation and SMEs in NAO supermarket. This study survey research design. The population of study comprises of 33 Employee of staff operating in NAO Supermarket Ado- Ekiti, Ekiti State. the researcher used primary data. The secondary data was obtained from the annual audited report of NAO Supermarket Ado- Ekiti, Ekiti State. findings indicate that multiple taxation significantly raises the overall operating costs for businesses in NAO Supermarket, adversely affecting the profit margins of SMEs. It also hampers the growth potential of these businesses by limiting their ability to expand operations. Frequent tax payments discourage further investment in SME development within the supermarket. Based on conclusion, Multiple taxation has a profound and adverse effect on the survival and growth of SMEs in NAO Supermarket. The findings indicate that the high tax burden significantly increases the overall cost of doing business, which in turn reduces profit margins and limits the ability of these businesses to expand. Therefore, the study recommendations, government should review and streamline the existing tax system to reduce the number of taxes imposed on SMEs. Consolidating multiple taxes into a single, more manageable tax could help ease the financial burden on these businesses and simplify compliance, enabling SMEs to allocate more resources toward growth and development.
